24 years in the making
It started with a magazine
Launched etydskrif.co.za — an online magazine, possibly before South Africa was quite ready for it. But it sparked something.
Going deeper
Completed formal courses in PHP and MySQL. Started understanding what was really happening under the hood.
The WordPress years
Got introduced to open source through eCash, then discovered WordPress. Started building for large companies and doing well.
Destinos is born
When circumstances changed, I didn't stop — I started Destinos.dev. Built for resilience, designed to work from anywhere in the world.
Going global
Clients in South Africa, Portugal, the US, New Zealand and the UK. Next stop: operating full-time from Portugal.
